About Libby Szabo

Libby Szabo
A native of Colorado and graduate of Wheat Ridge High School, Libby and her husband, Denes, have deep roots in Jefferson County and Colorado. The Szabo family includes four children, Angel, 23; Jessy, 21; Nissa, 19; and Karly, 14; all of whom attended Jefferson County schools.

As a working mother, Libby knows what it means to stretch a family budget and make ends meet. She also knows how finances affect families. Working in the mortgage lending and financial services industry, Libby understands the impacts of tax policy and regulatory red-tape that can act as a hindrance on working mothers and fathers. She understands the difficulties of balancing work, family and community and is committed to exceeding those expectations.

Libby is passionate about making a positive difference in her community. Like many mothers, she’s very active coaching local children’s soccer and volunteering at her church. Libby has also been involved in grassroots politics since she first registered to vote over two decades ago.
