I’m running for State Senate District 19 because I believe it’s time for a change—time for someone to represent the average citizens of Arvada and Westminster. Too many elected officials are influenced by special interests. They fail to represent their constituents once elected.

With national economists predicting a recession, families are seeing higher gas prices, a 15-20% increase in the cost of groceries and higher government fees for everything from birth certificates to marriage licenses and vehicle registration fees. We are tightening our belts, while the state is taking more and more of our money. Like you, I want government to run efficiently and on a lean budget or I want my money back.

I am the leader you can count on to bring fiscal balance and accountability to state government. I know what it’s like to raise children in this fast paced world. Our family has had a small business in Arvada for over 35 years and we know what it is like to run a business amidst the excess taxation and regulation the government has levied upon small business.

I believe with all of my experience and hard work I am best able to serve you and serve you well.
